Kipton Cronkite was instrumental in collaborating with our team in some of the key art commissions for Privé. Our main lobby commissions by Ross Bleckner were introduced by Kipton. He is thoughtful and passionate about art, well respected in the community, and I am thankful to have him on the team.
— Daniel Lebensohn, Managing partner

During 2016-2017, Kipton Cronkite was engaged as the art curator to secure work for the 70,000+ SF of public spaces in both towers of Privé, a luxury residential new development in Aventura, Florida. The objective of the project was to secure a variety of pieces that embraced the building’s brand and design that appealed to potential purchasers. Kipton also introduced one of the most recognized names in the art world, Ross Bleckner, who completed four massive unique commissioned paintings for the two towers.

Kipton’s comprehensive expertise in the art world – which includes identifying emerging artists along with more established artists in all mediums – was a valuable asset in helping to acquire some marvelous art selections for this project. I highly recommend Kipton and his team of experts, and look forward to working with him again.
— John Willey, Willey Design

Kipton was hired by Willey Design to curate art for a multi-million dollar Upper East Side co-op that spoke to the client's interests around art, design, and family. The focus for this residence was to be sensitive to the ages of the children by securing art for the playroom and media room. For the entry, living room, and master bedroom, Kipton secured thematic works that resulted in a cohesive, sophisticated vibe that spoke to the personality of the client.

I always enjoy working with Kipton to secure art for our projects, especially when we designed our spaces at the Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse. His knowledge and experience in matching art to our projects is unparalleled.

Kipton’s breadth of knowledge and sophisticated eye makes him a pleasure to work with. He exposed me to artists I wasn’t familiar with. Working with him on a project in Beverly Hills, we selected provocative artwork of a large scale that suited the enormous spaces. A room without art is incomplete. Kipton’s suggestions were the perfect punctuation points.
— Jamie Drake, Drake/Anderson

Kipton worked with Jamie Drake to locate a painting for the largest room at Greystone Mansion. While challenging, Kipton actively searched for an artist who had bright and vibrant colors to match Mr. Drake's desired aesthetic of the room. The result allowed him to secure an LA-based artist who later received international exposure on the cover of multiple design publications.

I have enjoyed working with Kipton since 2010. Over the last few years, he has collaborated with our sales and marketing teams to curate art for our model apartments at 75 Wall Street. His deep connections with individual artists and galleries has helped secure an impressive range of artwork to fill our model apartments. The art has brought life to our listings and made them more attractive to clients looking to buy in the building. Kipton’s keen eye for art combined with his knowledge of the real estate market, has given our team an opportunity to tap into his creative and sales strengths.
— SHAWN HAKIMIAN, THE HAKIMIAN ORGANIZATION

From 2015-2017, Kipton curated art in the model apartments from a group of Brooklyn and Manhattan based emerging artists. The goal of placing these pieces was to create a more vibrant synergy in each space while ensuring the art did not distract from the distinctive finishes set forth by Rockwell Design. The effect and result was a comprehensive and cohesively enhanced art program that attracted buyers and potential purchasers.

Kipton secured a commissioned copper sculpture for the chic lobby built by the Elad Group. The challenge was to place a work of art that was not distracting in the stark white interior. The result was a timeless sculpture that matched the budget of the client and the personalities of the residents and the developer.

Kipton’s ability to source art that adds unexpected and engaging visual context to the room is second to none. By bringing the work of both established and new artists, he is able to complete the design vision in a way that is personalized to each client.
— Eric Cohler, Eric Cohler Design

Interior designer Eric Cohler engaged Kipton to curate art for the new furniture line launched with Kindel, which resulted in a photography series that spoke to the international client base of the showroom. The series was a distinct and exclusive opportunity to curate contemporary photography with classic furniture built by Kindel.
