‘Conscious ShifT’ Celebrates Nature & Mindfulness
My next L.A. exhibition, “Conscious Shift”, debuts on Saturday evening, September 14th, in Los Angeles (RSVP Here). The exhibition explores the theme with artists who have included aspects of elevated awareness in their process. Curated works connect to nature (Lindsey Warren, Rotem Reshef, Brandon Lomax, Cris Lapp, Jade Doskow, Clayton Woodley) and mindfulness (Greg Haberny, Juan Antonio Guirado, Matt Smiley, Theodore Boyer, Renee Phillips, Steve Hash, Mr. Brainwash). The roster of local and international artists reference aspects of global warming, nature, wellness, and cohesively express how all living beings are connected.
I’m really proud of the artist roster and the opportunity to share this body of work. To learn more, contact me for a sneak peek of the artists for pre-sales!
I was recently inspired to write a poem (below) which connects to theme and the space of my life at this point. If you’d like to read it, I’d love to hear your thoughts, comments, and if it resonated with you in any way.
Change is in the air
But do people really care?
Tick tock, tick tock
Some say it isn’t fair
While others begin to scare
Another hour on the clock
To live life is to dare
Breathing in fresh air
But how long until it stops?
While life can seem unfair
Don’t just stop and stare
Pull off your shoes and socks
Shred yourself completely bare
And send loving vibes to each flower and pear
Expressing love and connecting the dots
Hail to the heavens, majestic prayer!
